Na twee jaar heeft Hunter Lawrence weer een manche overwinning te pakken in het Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. De Honda-rijder won in Southwick de eerste manche voor RJ Hampshire en Jo Shimoda. Met slechts een negende plaats stelde Jett Lawrence teleur maar gelukkig voor hem werd Justin Cooper slechts zesde.
