Jeffrey Dewulf komt sinds Ottobiano uit voor het Italiaanse Steels Dr. Jack KTM Team waardoor “JD” dit weekend ook als speciale gast aantrad in het Italiaanse kampioenschap. Dewulf werd tijdens de vijfde ronde in Bosisio Parini knap tweede in de MX1 na Alessandro Lupino.
In de gemengde MX1/MX2 superfinale reed de 25-jarige West-Vlaming zelf naar de zege maar hij werd achteraf 10 plaatsen terug geplaatst omdat hij de gele vlag niet zou gerespecteerd hebben. Ivo Monticelli won de MX2 klasse.
