Door vanochtend in het zand van Grayan-et-l’Hôpital te winnen, verzekerde Randy Naveaux zich van de titel van Frans kampioen nog voor de seizoensfinale op het strand van Le Touquet. Het is een tweede opeenvolgende titel voor onze landgenoot.
De perfecte score. Dat is wat Randy Naveaux tot nu toe heeft bereikt in het Franse zandkampioenschap. Naveaux heeft dit seizoen nog geen enkele race verloren. Het enige wat hij nu nog moet doen is winnen in Le Touquet om de Grand Slam op te eisen. Ondertussen kan hij al genieten van zijn tweede opeenvolgende Franse titel bij de quads, hij kan mathematisch niet meer bijgebeend worden.
Limburger Oliver Vandendijck kwam vandaag als 13de over de finish in Grayan en staat momenteel op een negende plek in de tussenstand.
